Traditional Burlap sacks were used centuries ago by Monks transporting their wines from the vineyards to their markets across Chile. The sacks provided perfect encasement to protect the bottles from the sun, wind and rocky roads whilst they were being transported in horse drawn carts by young parishioners from the Colchagua Valley. Today, this tradition continues to be observed by Vino de Eyzaguirre with the same dedication. The bottles arrive at your table in their traditional burlap sack, which certifies the wine's quality from its very origins.
